ASO Practice Skills and Advocacy Workshop – 28 October 2017
As the perfect precursor to this year’s RANZCO Congress in Perth, ASO is gearing up to stage our annual Advocacy and Practice Skills Workshop on the morning of 28 October.
Key professional, practice focused updates will be provided to members with speakers from TressCox Lawyers, Cutcher & Neale Accounting and Financial Services and MDA National. This year will continue our focus on Indigenous Health with Professor Angus Turner providing an update on key achievements and lessons in Western Australia.
The workshop also includes the second annual Andrew Stewart Lecture. The lecture, was created to recognise the contribution Western Australian eye surgeon Dr Andrew Stewart made to ophthalmology in Australia during his years of practice. Dr Stewart was a past president of RANZCO, a longstanding ASO board member, and a passionate patient advocate.
The ASO is pleased to advise that the 2nd Annual Andrew Stewart Lecture will be given by AMA President and fellow West Australian Dr Michael Gannon.
