Full-time or Part-time Ophthalmologist

Port Macquarie Eye Centre seeks full-time or part-time Ophthalmologist with specialty interest in oculoplastics, paediatrics, and/or a General Ophthalmologist to join our growing teaching practice.

We have 8 x Ophthalmologists currently supported by 3 x Orthoptists, 2 x Optometrists, 3 x Nurses, 4 x Clinical Assistants, an Administration team and General Manager. As a teaching practice, we work with 2 x accredited training Registrars from Sydney Eye Hospital. We encompass the full range of ophthalmology including vitreoretinal, paediatrics, cataract, glaucoma, diabetes, adult squint, pterygium, macular degeneration treatment and oculoplastics.

For the full time applicant, there exists the possibility of a fee for service position at Port Macquarie Base Hospital and Kempsey District Hospital.

Our facility is connected to the adjacent Port Macquarie Ophthalmic Surgery, allowing for seamless patient services and experience.

Our consulting rooms are purpose built and located in the idyllic centre of Port Macquarie.

We have vacancy for locums to work part -time in our practice on a regular basis and/or to fill holiday leave throughout the year.
