Dr Pritpal Singh

DrĀ Pritpal Singh has been in private practice since 2005. Comprehensive Eye Care was established at Richmond in March 2006. Since then, the practice has grown rapidly with a focus on continued innovation and improvement. He was the first Ophthalmologist to start a practice in Norwest, in March 2008. Over the years, Dr Singh has performed thousands of successful eye procedures.

Striving to provide professional and compassionate care, Dr Singh and his staff will ensure that each patient feels confident and comfortable with their treatment plan. The practice specialises in non-corporate individualised care with only the required tests ordered. They have strong collaborative relationships with local medical practitioners and optometrists.

Dr Singh grew up in rural NSW. At Sydney University, he won two medical scholarships and a medical prize. After graduating with honours, he then trained in Ophthalmology at the Sydney Eye Hospital.

After becoming qualified, he completed an Observership at the Moorfields Eye Hospital London in Glaucoma. He was appointed to a consultant Ophthalmologist position at Westmead Public Hospital in 2005 where he founded and ran morbidity and mortality meetings (quality and control) for cataract, glaucoma and eyelid plastics for over 10 years. He has authored articles in medical literature and has presented his research at numerous medical forums.
