ASO Job Board Terms of Use

Terms of Use (“Terms”)

Please read these Terms of Use (“Terms, “Terms of Use”) carefully before using the http://www.asoeye.org/vacanices website, referred to as the ASO Job Board (the “Service”) and operated by the Australian Society of Ophthalmologists (“us”, “we”, or “our”).

Your access to and use of the Service is condition on your acceptance of and compliance with the Terms. These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use the Service. 

By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of the terms, then you may not access the Service.

Terms and Conditions

ASO Members

ASO Members are entitled to access the Service as a complimentary inclusion of their ASO membership.
Positions can be advertised for a maximum period of six (6) months.

Non-ASO Members

Non-ASO Members can access the Service at a reduced rate (see Fees and Charges).
Positions can be advertised for a maximum period of eight (8) weeks.
To extend the advertising period, additional fees will be charged (see Fees and Charges).

Content

Our Service allows you to post, link, store, share, and otherwise make available certain information, text, graphics, videos, or other material (“Content”).

You are responsible for the Content.

At the discretion of the ASO Media and Communications Manager, this Content may be edited to align with ASO Style Guidelines and/or platform requirements. 

Furthermore, it is the absolute authority of the ASO to refuse and/or reject any requests to use the Service that do not meet the standards and guidelines of the ASO or its Board of Directors. 

Service inclusions

Upon providing the Content and completing the Booking Form, the Service will include at your selection: 

1.    Hosting on the Service (the ASO Job Board);
2.    One dedicated social media post on each of the ASO’s channels: LinkedIn, Facebook, and/or X; and
3.    Additional promotion within the ‘Job Opportunities’ section of our monthly EyeWatch e-newsletter.

Fees and Charges

The Service is offered complimentary to ASO Members as part of their membership benefits.

Non-ASO Members are required to pay a $200 fee to access the Service for a maximum advertising period of eight (8) weeks.

To continue to advertise for another period of up to eight (8) weeks, non-ASO Members will be required to pay an additional $200 fee, and so on. 

Upon completion of the Booking Form, you will be invoiced accordingly. 

Termination

We may terminate or suspend access to our Service immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if you breach the Terms.
